Upcoming Events
Every Tuesday - 1 to 3 pm - Fiber/
     textile craft group. Knitters,
     crotcherers, needlepointers, etc.
     are invited to join others who
     share their passion for fiber arts
     for open weekly gatherings in
     the Parlor room of the library.
Every Thursday - 1 to 3 pm - American
     Mahjong group. Beginners as
     well as experienced players
     welcome to join in the fun.
May - Art in the Library -
    Featuring the work of Trudy
    Seavey. Available for viewing
    during library hours. Opening
    reception on Monay May 7th from
    6 to 7 pm.

May 17th - 5:00 pm - Volunteer
     Appreciation dinner. By invitation
     to all those who gave their time
     this past year to help out at the
     library and community center.
May 18th - 6 pm - Movie Night -
    Ferdinand. PG. 108 min. Animated
    comedy-drama about the
    adventures of a young bull who
    escapes from a training camp in
    rural Spain after his father never
    returns from a showdown with a
    matador. Enjoy with friends
    on the big screen for the
    real movie for the movie theater
    experience. Free. Snacks will be
    available by donation.
May 21st - 3:30 to 4:30 pm - Legos,
     Robots, Snap Circuits, and Keva
     Builders. For ages 8 and up.
May 22nd - 4 to 5 pm - Book Club
    discussion of Mississippi Solo by
    Eddy Harris. Copies are
    available atthe library. Free and
    open to all.
May 27th - 2 to 4 pm - Acoustic
    jam session. Players, singers,
    audience members welcome!

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
