      Mah Jongg group. Beginners as
      well as experienced players
      welcome to join in the fun.
October 1st–31st- Art in the Library:
     Margaret C. Manter's work.
     Exhibit open during library
October 16th - 6:00 pm - Family
     Movie Night - Hotel Transylvania
     - 12 min. PG.
     Enjoy this animated family
     comedy about a high-end resort
     operated by Count Dracula.
     Featuring a star-studded cast
     including Adam Sandler and
     Kevin James. Shown on
     the library's new BIG screen with
     our new high-quality projector for
     a real movie theater-style
     experience! Free. Concessions
     available by donation.
October 20th - 4 pm - Let's Talk
     About It Book Discussion of
     Potshot by Gerry Boyle. Copies
     of the book are available from
     the library. All welcome.
October 23rd - 5:30 pm - Harvest
     Supper. Enjoy a delicious home-
     cooked meal of roast turkey with
     all of the fixings plus a delectable
     choice of pie for dessert. By
     donation to benefit the library
     and community center. Note:
     to be held here at the Parish
     House this year
October 24th - 10 am - Puppet Show -
     "The Headless Horseman of
     Sleepy Hollow" by the Frogtown
     Mountan Puppeteers. Sure to be
     a popular event, so plan on
     getting here early to ensure
     you get a seat.
October 30th - 6 to 8 pm - Children's
     Halloween Party. Lots of fun
     activities and treats. Free.
November 3rd - 4 pm - Let's Talk
     About It Book Discussion of
     Mortar and Muder by Jennie
     Bentley. Copies of the book
     are available from the library.
     All welcome.
November 7th - During Library hours -
     Nemo the Silent Sidekicks reading
     therapy dog will be at the library
     to listen to readers. Call, email,
     or stop by to schedule a time for
     your child to read with him.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
