Moore for the Future Endowment Campaign

Upcoming Events
Every Tuesday - 1 to 3 pm - Fiber/
     textile craft group. Knitters,
     crotcherers, needlepointers, etc.
     are invited to join others who
     share their passion for fiber arts
     for open weekly gatherings in
     the Parlor room of the library.
Every Thursday - 1 to 3 pm - American
     Mahjong group. Beginners as
     well as experienced players
     welcome to join in the fun.
July - Art in the Library -
    Featuring the photography of
    Craig Snapp . Available for viewing
    during library hours.
July 6th - 6 pm - Movie Night -
    Coco. PG. 109 min. Animated
    adventure about a boy named
    Miguel who dreams of becoming
    a musician despite his family's
    generations-old ban on music.
    Enjoy with friends on the big
    screen for the real movie theater
    experience. Free. Snacks will be
    available by donation.
July 12th - 1 pm - Rockin' Juggling
    Comedy Show with Michael Menes.
July 12th - TBA - Beginner's Juggling
    Workshop with Michael Menes.
    Limited to 20 children. Call the
    library or email Jeanne to sign up
    Free.
July 15th - 11:30 am to 1 pm -
    Lobster Fest. A full lobster or
    hotdog dinner will be served,
    including homemade coleslaw, corn,
    chips, drinks and dessert.
    Participants can also bring home
    something delicious from the pie
    sale or take a chance on the raffle
    for another lobster feast. The raffle
    basket will include six lobsters, six
    pounds of clams, corn, and other
    fixings. Tim and Bonnie will provide
    fun bluegrass music with stellar
    harmonies. The event will also
    feature children's activities.
June 17th - 10 am- Painting Rocks
    with Amy Hall for a rock garden
    at the library. Free. For ages 5
    and up. Class size limited to 20.
June 18th - 10 am- Paper Project
    with Elizabeth Dyak. Participants
    will use card stock and strips of
    colored papger to cut and create
    a complicated looking pattern.
    Free. For ages 5 and up. Class
    size limited to 15.
June 18th - 7 to 8 pm - Book Club
    discussion of Doing Time: 25 Years
    of Prison Writing
by Bell Gale
    Chevigny. Third of the summer's
    Let's Talk About it Series
    "Where am I? The Individual in the
    Community" facilitated by Dr. Colin
    Windhorst. Copies are available
    at the library. Free and open to all.
June 19th - 10 am- Collage Making
    with Amy Hall.rary. Free. For ages 5
    and up. Class size limited to 20.
July 26th - 7 to 8 pm - History of
    Petit Menan Point. Talk by Steuben
    Historical Society President Sean
    Billings. Free and open to all.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
