Moore for the Future Endowment Campaign

Upcoming Events
Every Tuesday - 1 to 3 pm - Fiber/
      textile craft group. Knitters,
      crotcherers, needlepointers, etc.
      are invited to join others who
      share their passion for fiber arts
      for open weekly gatherings in
      the Parlor room of the library.
Every Wednesday - 10 am–noon -
      Coloring for adults. Books, pencils,
      and markers are available at the
      library or bring your own. Not just
      for children anymore—"coloring
      has therapeutic potential to
      reduce anxiety, create focus, and
      bring about more mindfulness".
Every Thursday - 1 to 3 pm - American
      Mah Jongg group. Beginners as
      well as experienced players
      welcome to join in the fun.
July 2nd–30th - Art in the Library:
     Jillian and Jimmi. Exhibit is open
     during library hours.
July 17th - 11:30 am to 1:30 pm -
     Third Annual Lobster Fest. Enjoy
     a full lobster (or hotdog) dinner,
     bake sale, children’s activities,
     and auction. To benefit the
     library's Moore for the Future
     Endowment Campaign.
July 20th - 10 am - Mad Science of
     Maine "Olympic Madness" show
     during library hours. Free for kids
     of all ages.
July 22nd - 6:00 pm - Family Movie
     Night - Zootopia- 108 min. PG.
     Enjoy this family adventure in
     in which a city of anthropomorphic
     animals, a rookie bunny cop, and a
     cynical con artist fox must work
     together to uncover a conspiracy.
     Shown on the library's new BIG
     screen with our new high-quality
     projector for a real movie
     theater-style experience! Free.
     Concessions available by donation.
July 27th - 10 am - Papermaking
     Workshop with Elizabeth Dyak.
     Free for kids of all ages. Limited
     to first 10 to sign up.
August 6th - 8:30 am to 1 pm - Book
     Bake, Plant, and Yard Sale. Get
     some great deals, good summer
     reads, and treats for the garden
     and your taste buds while
     supporting your local library and
     community center.
August 9th - 4 pm - Book Discussion
     Group. A Spool of Blue Thread by
     Anne Tyler. Copies are
     available at the library.
     Light refreshements provided.
     Everyone welcome!

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
