Upcoming Events
Every Friday - 1 to 3 pm - American
       Mah Jongg group. Beginners as
       well as experienced players
       welcome to join in the fun.
December 1st to Jan. 31st - Art in the
      Library: Judith Coleman's "Solstice
      Show". Opening reception Monday
      Dece. 1st from 5:30 to 7 pm.
      Exhibit open during library hours.
January 11th - 3:00 pm - Joyful Winter
      Concert with Bruce Cassady, Kenny
      Pierce, Leonore Hildebrandt, and
      Brian Stewart. Jeff Benedict's wood
      carvings will be on display.
      Refreshments will be available, and
      donations to benefit the Library
      & Community Center are welcome.
      Exhibit open during library hours.
January 16th - 6:00 pm - Movie Night -
       Maleficent. 97 min. PG. Free.
       Concessions available by donation.
       Enjoy this 2014 family action
       adventure movie starring Angelina
       Jolie shown on the library's new
       BIG screen with our new high-
       quality projector for a real movie
       theater-style experience!
January 31st - Nemo, the Silent
      Sidekicks reading therapy dog will
      be at the library. Please contact the
      library to make an appointment for
      your child/children to read to him.
February 6th - 7:00 pm - Movie Night -
      "42" [story of Jackie Robinson].
      128 mins.PG-13. Free.
       Concessions available by donation. February 10th - 4:00 pm - Book Club
      meeting. Will discuss Rules of
      Civility by Amor Towles. Copies of
       the book are available at the
       library. Anyone interested in
       reading and discussing the book is
       welcome to attend.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
