Moore for the Future Endowment Campaign

Upcoming Events
Every Monday - 1 to 3 pm - American
      Mah Jongg group. Beginners as
      well as experienced players
      welcome to join in the fun.
August 3rd to Spetember 26th - Art in
     the Library: Donna Pickard's hooked
     rugs and Tara Faye's handmade
     quilts.Exhibit open during library
     hours.
August 21st - 1pm - African Drumming.
     Free family music program offered
     by West African master drummer
     Jordan Benissan. Audience
     participation encouraged!
August 26th - morning - Reading with
     Nemo. Call, email, or stop by to
     make an appointment.
August 28th - 6 pm- Bean Supper.
     Join us for a classic downeast
     meal featuring baked beans, mac
     and cheese, coleslaw, corn bread,
     hot dogs, and gingerbread for
     dessert. Admission by donation to
     benefit the library and community
     center.
September 4th - 3 to 5 pm - Bess the
     Book Bus will be at Camden Bank
     parking lot in Milbridge giving out
     free books to children.
September 6th - 5pm- Gala Community
     Benefit Supper and silent auction
     at Eagle Hill to support the library
     and community center along with
     5 other local organizations. A
     truly fun evening featuring a lovely
     candlelight supper at Christopher's
     Restaurant. RSVP required by
     September 2nd. Call 546-2821 ext.

September 8th - 4 pm - Lets Talk
     AboutIt Maine Mystery Writers
     BookDiscussion featuring The
     Poacher'sSon by Paul Doiron.
     Copies ofthe book are available
     from thelibrary. All welcome.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
