Upcoming Events
"Fizz, Boom, Read" Summer
      Reading Program for children and
      adults. Register at the library now
      through August 23rd.
Every Friday - 1 to 3 pm - American
       Mah Jongg group. Beginners as
       well as experienced players
       welcome to join in the fun.
Every Wednesday 4 to 5:30 pm -
      "Reader of the Pack" program for
      Children of all ages. Call or stop by
      to make an appointment to read to
      Nemo (Silent Sidekick therapy dog).
June 30th to July 30th - Art in the
      Library: Barbara Snapp exhibit.
     0pen during library hours.
July 14th - 6 to 8 pm - Book signings.
      Authors Allan Lockyer and Richard
      Rowland will be at the library to
      sign and discuss their latest books.
      Copies will be available for sale.
July 16th - 10 am- "Fizz, Pop, Boom"
      program with Mad Science of
      Maine . All welcome.
July 26th - 8:30 am to 1 pm - Annual
      Book, Bake, Plant, and Yard Sale.
      Great chance to stock up on good
      summer reading, delicious freshly
      baked treats, lovely additions to
      your garden, and some awesome
July 28th - 6 to 7:30 pm - Talk by
      children's book illustrator Matthew
      Myers. Bring a paper and pencil
      and paper because he will be giving
      a shor illustration lesson suitable
      for children and adults.
August 12th - 4 pm - Book Club
      Discussion of Sebiscuit by Laura
      Hillenbrand. All welcome.
      Copies of the book are available
      at the Library.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
