Upcoming Events
Every Tuesday - 1 to 3 pm - Fiber/
     textile craft group. Knitters,
     crotcherers, needlepointers, etc.
     are invited to join others who
     share their passion for fiber arts
     for open weekly gatherings in
     the Parlor room of the library.
Every Thursday - 1 to 3 pm - American
     Mahjong group. Beginners as
     well as experienced players
     welcome to join in the fun.
June - Art in the Library -
    Featuring the oil paintings of Nona
    Cirone. Available for viewing
    during library hours. Opening
    reception on Monday June 4th
    from 6 to 7 pm.

June 8th - 6 pm - Movie Night -
    Paddington 2. PG. 103 min.
    Animated comedy adventure about
    the beloved bear Paddington, who
    buys the perfect present for his
    Aunt's birthday, only to have it
    stolen, which leads him on an
    epic quest to unmaks the thief and
    retrieve the gift. Enjoy with friends
    on the big screen for the
    real movie for the movie theater
    experience. Free. Snacks will be
    available by donation.
June 13th - 7 to 8 pm - Book Club
    discussion of The Scarlett Letter by
    Nathaniel Hawthorne. First of the
    summer's Let's Talk About it Series
    "Where am I? The Individual in the
    Community" facilitated by Dr. Colin
    Windhorst. Copies are available
    at the library. Free and open to all.
June 16th - 10 am to noon- Donuts
    with Dad and Ham Radio Kids Day.
    Bring your father in for a sweet
    treat and experience the fun
    of learning to use a ham radio
    to communicate with others
    near and far.
June 23rd - 10 am to 1 pm - "Libraries
    Rock" Summer Reading Program
    registration opens. Sign up and
    see how many books you can read
    this summer!
June 25th - time TBA - Volunteering
     with your Pet. Call the library
     for further info.
June 27th - 7 to 8 pm - Book Club
    discussion of The Year of Wonders
    by Geraldine Brooks. Second of the
    summer's Let's Talk About it Series
    "Where am I? The Individual in the
    Community" facilitated by Dr. Colin

    at the library. Free and open to all.
June 30th - 9 am to noon - Annual
     Book, Bake, Plant, and Yard Sale.
     Great reads, tasty eats, lovely
     additions for the garden, and
     wicked good deals to be had.

The Library is easy to find: it is just off of Route 1 in Steuben, on the Village Road across from the Ella Lewis Grammar School. The driveway leads around back to the main entrance.
